Northern Ireland Shore - in Black and White






Heading out tomorrow, Southwest, to avoid Belfast, then South. For today, one that had a light brisk wind, and some clouds and NO people anywhere. some photos from the shore.

Whitepark bay...I've photgraphed the sun coming up on the summer solstice there a couple of times. (Hippy, me?) Harumph.

The photos are gorgeous. Water and sky seems to work especially well in black and white.

Wonderful photos. I'm enjoying your trip vicariously. Don't forget to try a bit of "potcheen" if you can get a hold of some (ask your B&B host)but not before driving or you may have a run in with the "gorda".

The black & white gives these scenes a classic look. Subtler than color, with the shades and shadows. Lovely.

Brigid, glad you're enjoying your trip to Northern Ireland. Any particular reason for avoiding Belfast?

If you have time, the scenery around the coast from Warrenpoint towards Kilkeel and Newcastle is nice.
