How best to spend your Sunday brunch time.
Sorry - I had my Easter post scheduled to come up automatically, and it did, a week early. It's back to draft, thanks for the heads up.
Now I'm going to have to go cook something and take a picture of it.
Or clean . . .
I vote for breakfast, and not a bowl of sticks and twigs cereal. I skipped dinner and I want something more than that.

How about you start with tall
flaky biscuits (recipes on sidebar or your favorite) and some
leftover ham tbat was drizzled with a splash of orange juice and gently heated.

Make some
Jamesons Honey/Cinnamon Butter (Mix two capful of Jamesons Irish Whisky, a couple teaspoons of sugar and 2 T. of butter in a small bowl. Nuke half a minute or until until melted. Stir in 3 tablespoons of honey, 3 dashes of Penzey's cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of orange juice, and another 3-4 tablepoons of solid butter. Mix, stirring until combined.) Brush on Biscuits and assemble. Save the remainder. As it cools, it will firm up and can be stored covered in the fridge for oatmeal, pancakes or bread. I'm not sure how long, as I just made this up as I went this morning.

Eat one, give one to your favorite four legged friends. Save the other two for breakfast another morning or in case a hungry friend wanders in.
Sit and look at the shooty stuff that needs to be put away, the laundry to be done or the boxes that should be unpacked.
Ah. . the weekends.

I would finish cleaning your guns..........
Clean guns you can clean mine as well if you feel like it
Clean the guns, then off to their beds with dreams of bullseyes to come :-)
Dang, that looks good. Those biscuits look right smart.
I haven't had any decent ham in a loooong time. We usually have ham at some point during the Christmas/Thanksgiving feeding frenzy, but this year we didn't.
Gonna have to fix that.
Be careful nuking that Jamesons! It's volatile. Good, but volatile.
And that breakfast beat the bejeebers out of an egg McBurgerBell-in-the-box sandwich.
When I read the post this morning I decided to send a couple of friends Easter greetings. They sent email back with all kinds of suggestions on buying a calendar. Hilarious.
Them's some tasty looking biscuits.
Never thought about Scotch whiskey honey before. Hmmmm.
My guns are clean; just on the 'net long enough today to answer email, search for a gallon container of CLP that won't break the bank, and then back out to finish up the new backboard for the culdesac basket ball goal.
Mrs. Utah's Eternal Spaghetti at 6.
Have a fine week, all.
Sigh...
What the Ham 'n Biscuits lack is GRAVY. There are few things for breakfast that can't be improved by a good dollop of gravy.
I do believe that those biscuits are in need of some fried eggs and pepper jack cheese.
Of course, each to his (or her) own,
LOL!!

Have you tried using stevia instead of sugar? Works great!
I would add some of my free range eggs with the biscuits. :)
Now, I agree with Idahobob on the fried eggs, but I bet those were great without them, too!
Damn, those are some good lookin' biscuits, if only the 'Net were scratch and sniff....
I was just thinking that one of these days you might want to try this new way to make bacon for breakfast:
