Infinite Planes of the Random

click to enlarge to see the detail

The universe is composed of infinite planes of the random.

- from John Wyndham's "Random Quest"

In a outcropping, along the oceans edge, a great stone, comprised of tiny bits of the sea, gathered and formed over hundreds of years perhaps. In it, embedded, an almost complete shell. How it got there, I do not know, how it stayed intact, even more of a random mystery.

I'm home. I'm very, very tired. I'm going to sleep for about 12 hours and then I'll be back with a breakfast that involves both bacon and bourbon.
