OK, so I peeked.

I did peek, but it was with permission so I could wear it to an office get together. Look, they KNEW I was going to peek. I peeked at the little heart necklace I got on my 40th birthday as well.

That's a .357 round, with a ruby red type stone that already glowing in the morning sun.

Remember folks if you get a package from me for Christmas, don't let the air holes get blocked and stuff in at least a pound of meat and some water each day. The growling noise is just the contents settling.

I'd vote garnet, but if it's a ruby you'd better get it insured!

The package arrived, and I've been following your directions, but it seems to be leaking something...

wv: uprea...yeah, that's what it's leaking.

Beautiful.

The jewel-bullet is a lovely and original idea, but the engraving really makes it.

It looks hand-crafted. By the giver, perhaps?

Quite impressive. And, of course, its beauty will only be magnified by being worn.

Rick, I have a couple of artistic bullet pieces that I treasure for many reasons. This one is just exquisite and unexpected, so it meant a lot.

GORGEOUS!!!

As for the sidebar, I am afraid it was the mouth that distracted me...and the "great big...tracts of land!" HA!

Lovely as ever, B...

Pretty cool. Isn't it wonderful to be so highly thought of?

Merry Christmas!

Thanks! Of to brave the shopping areas for one or two more gifts. Rangebuddy and family were out and just told me the stores are crowded and the drivers crazy.

But I have my truck, my credit card and my favorite holster, which allows me to draw if needed without giving myself a huge wedgie.

Later!

Forgotten your bra....didn't look like you needed one :-)

What can one expect me to notice, when this reader is a man. LOL!! Especially when the view looks so delicious!

Hope you survived the shopping crowds.

That is simply because there isn't a lot of contrast between your necklace and your skin. Yeah, that's it :-)

For seeing it close-up it really does look like someone put a lot of care into it, and that care has yielded a beautiful piece of work.

You are definitely well thought of beyond the web. And shows eh?.

Keep eyes front when driving right now. The amount of rear end collisions from looking at the shopping list, dialing the phone, and texting, etc. is really high this time of year. And watch out for those three dangerous drivers, Tess, Tose and Tyrone.

That is a very nice gift and I am sure you appreciate it.

Here's how the conversation went at my house a couple of days ago:

Hubby: Did you see that new picture Brigid put up in the sidebar?

Me: The one with the bullet on the chain?

Hubby: What bullet?

Thanks Brigid,

I thought my Christmas shopping was done a month ago until my wife saw this post...

What a thoughtful gift! I did see the pic on the sidebar. So does the bullet fit in a Hornady or Dillon press? I may need to make some, LOL!

Yowsah! It sure looks deep between those twin peaks. What ever you do don't drop that new pendent down between them. Before you have a Chilean miners rescue team assembled you'll have every man in the room offering to risk a whole arm in an attempt to rescue the said item of jewellery from the chasm of The Great Boobies.

Is that custom made, or is there a place where I can buy one? I would love to get one for my wife.

Saw the picture in the sidebar last week, and had no idea of the significance. the details of the necklace are hard to make out in the long shot, and you (lovely) red hair got in the way a little bit. I thought it was one of the message-scroll holders or some-such. Seeing the close-up shows it to be a beautiful piece of jewelry.

As with many other, I also appreciated the visual distractions in that photo.

That is just beautiful Ms. Brigid.

My 'lil' bro made each of us one from nickel plated .45 colt with an oak bullet. I'd post a pic, but that just wouldn't be nice to folks. I wear mine whenever I am 'with weapon' so those that know me, will know, ya know? (and I like to stir the sheep.)
My daughter has fishing jig spinner earrings and
.22 shorts ones are in the works. Whoda thunk spent ammo could make such beautiful jewelry?
