Years ago, I worked as an engineer on a defense program called the Fast Attack Vehicle. Imagine a dune buggy painted a cheerful olive-drab with gun mounts. My favorite was the 30mm Chain Gun mounted in front of the passenger seat. We had great fun driving the thing on the streets & highways between facilities.
