Someone's looking pretty relaxed. Barkley, you didn't . . .

Get into my vicodin did you??

They gave me a pretty big bottle, but I only needed one after the wisdom tooth removal. I was on similar pain meds for a fair bit of time after my surgery this January and it made me a bit mentally and physically wobbly (but happy). Glad I could avoid it this time. After the first 36 hours after the teeth it was just jello and a few aspirin and I was fine. Thanks to all you that checked on me and my face (even though I probably sounded like Joe Biden with a mouth full of marshmallows right after).

Glad that the pain wasn't really bad.

Barkley looks like he is either feeling too lazy to move or is patiently waiting until you tell him to stop staying put.

It is quite a while until bird hunting season, but a long walk might be on the agenda. But first a nap followed by plotting to steal your dinner.

Nah, even on the vicodin, I'll bet you sounded more intelligent and coherent than Biden.

Glad you're feeling better, and functional!

Get a sealable jar big enough to put the bottle of Vicodin in at about 4x it's volume. Get some deicer salts - the calcium chloride stuff that's little white beads, not the sodium chloride stuff that's big crystals of salt. Put some in the jar. Put the bottle of Vicodin in the jar. Put some more calcium chloride in the jar. Seal it, and put it in the freezer. It should keep for a very long time without degrading and you'll have it for another day.

Got mine out in my wild and younger days. Traded the pain meds proscribed for beer. worked well for me.

Hope you feel better, Brigid. Get well soon!

You would think Wisdom Teeth would be smart enough to know how to keep themselves in shape. Sadly that is rarely the case. I empathize with you, I remember the pain myself.

Feel better,
