By the way, The sedation didn't do anything funny to me at all.
But where did those two hours go and why am I wearing a fur bearing critter on my head.?
I did call my Dad. It's his 91st birthday tomorrow and I wanted him to know I was OK and hadn't forgotten. Mom died just days after his birthday, with he and I holding on to her in those last hours. I know he is thinking about that.He said "Are you safe?" I said "Yes. " He said "Is your friend safe as well". I said "As far as I can know, yes".
He said "Listen to your doctor, I know you won't, but I'm going to say it anyway. Be safe, be happy, I'm glad there are those that love you. That's all that matters to me (big pause). I love you very much"
Must be the meds, I've got watery eyes now.

Glad it went well!!!
WHAT fur-bearing critter?
Glad it went well, and I trust it wasn't like tonsils, wherein they say you can eat all the ice cream you want, but, then you cannot taste it!
Heal quickly, awaiting more food prep-pix!

I too am glad it went well!
Glad it all went well (started to say glad it came out okay, but that's horrible).
I'm glad to hear your dad is still doing well, too.
Glad it went well, too!!!
Glad you're doing ok. Your CARE package should be arriving any day now.
Remember, keep it away from bright lights, don't get it wet and don't feed it after midnight.
Yay for ice cream!! Always good to find the positive. Glad you are doing well!
Ice cream is good, but steer clear of the sherbet. The acidity could be quite painful (know from tonsil removal a couple years ago). Continued prayers for a speedy and uneventful recovery.
Glad to hear every thing came out ok. Wishing you a quick recovery.
Good news is always welcome.
Enjoy, relax, read, eat.

Your father is a wise wise man. You would do well to listen to him.
I'm glad you are safe.
Glad you made it OK. I gather donuts and ice-cream, topped with a small measure of the water of life, are very good for sore teeth.
;-)
Surprisingly good. My wife gave me this when I had my tonsils out at 32.
Plain yogurt, with pineapple juice mixed in.
Yummy!
Frozen OJ works good too, but pineapple was the original.

Simple words, yet you know of its context and content. Years and years of knowing him give them meanings of which only your heart perceives.
Said by another person, it would mean something else. Same words different meaning.
He truly must be a great man to evoke such feelings from such simple words where love fleshes out the stricture of the sparse diction.
Perhaps this is where the 3-words/8-letters are capable of having such terrible and binding potency.
A red fox stole would blend right and and hardly be noticeable - well, except maybe for the extra set of eyes...
Hmmm, is red fox redundant when talking about Brigid??
Anyway, heal fast, and cherish that father of yours.
Happy for you, that you seem to be mending well. I was fortunate when I had my wisdom teeth removed - - Old line dentist-turned-oral-surgeon did the work. I had worked with him in surgery when I was in college. He didn't have to brief me on what was happening, and felt NO need to baby me. I had a full and rapid recovery. That was long ago.
Glad you have a support system in place. Best wishes to you and your Da'.

Listen to your Pop, get well soon!
Damn those meds! I've got "watery eyes" now too!
Glad to hear you're doing OK. I guess this means I can't be a baby when I get my tonsils out next month.
Blessings on your Dad.
My friend S. asked me about the hat picture while she and I chatted on the phone last night. That was a from a Cabelas I visited in the Midwest with a friend while he and his wife were in the area after the birth of a new grandchild. Had a hard time getting the zombie racoon to hold still for the photo.
