I don't care. .

  2. Top Gear... the best show on TV.

It's a shame they edit the episodes down to fit commercials in.

  3. Oh, now that is Barkley, through and through. With a wag in his tail and a gleam in his eye.. and a theft of your shoes, too, adding insult to injury on the theft of socks!

  4. The dignified look of a touch of grey in the muzzle is so misleading. Go Barkley!

    Oh the sock budget.

  5. He's just looking out for you! How would you be able to relax with your socks and shoes on?

  6. Sherry - I did! Good girl! Barkley had to be in a pen for his first few years until I could trust him not to eat the furniture. He's been good. But it takes a while.

Dude - Top Gear is awesome, I'll even suffer through the commercials for it.

A girl - I think I will have a couple days off this week, drop a line so we can chat, been a busy few weeks!

On a Wing - on yes, TSA dog, always watching for stray undies.

Mrs. S. - don't let the grey hair and the charm fool you, he's stealth sock stealing dog (usually waiting until I'm up to my eyeballs in bubbles in the tub).

  10. It is a practice not limited to dogs, my big old fat Manx is an accomplished sock thief

  11. Is he wearing lace? I didn't expect he was that kind of dog.

  12. He is such a handsome boy. I love that little touch of grey on his muzzle. Makes me think of Trooper.

  14. Professor - it's sort of rolled up, but it was the bandana (cream with little black paw prints on it) the dog groomer put on him. I'd just picked him up from getting a bath and nail clip. (I've learned it's easier to pay someone to do that a couple times a year than my trying).

  15. My dad got me hooked on Top Gear. I love it.

I have it set up to auto-record new episodes on my DVR. I still usually end up watching an episode or three when we go visit my folks.

In our house, the begging tonight involved the ham I was slicing up for ham & scalloped potatoes. The cats were quite put out over the fact that I would not share.

  16. Auntie J - it's a lot of work but try the Brigid's best potatoes on the sidebar. I've a friend, who made them for his finicky ones and now they constantly say "when are you going to make Brigid's Potatoes".

He says. "they're a pain, we'll have them at Christmas!" but he relents and makes them.

I love Top Gear (a fave was when they were trying to pick the perfect car for a teenage boy). I've not taped it, I should do that.

I started this blog for family that lives far away. Now that they are gone, it continues on to share those memories.
