Some Things Don't Need a Whole Lot of Words

  1. So true, no matter if there is an "R" by the name or a "D". ;-)

  2. Could be the most truth ever about the political process. I have a friend with a restored John Deere manure spreader. We occasionally pull it in local parades with my antique tractor. The spreader has a sign on both sides that say "This is an un-paid political announcement."

  3. Hey that is giving manure a bad name, it is really good stuff that helps people grow plants in the garden. Political promises cause nothing but trouble.

  5. The John Deere dealer in our town said the only item he sold he would not stand behind was the manure spreader.

    1. I remember a Volkswagen commercial in which it was said that most executives stand behind their products, but VW executives will stand in front of theirs. They were standing on a test track with a VW of some sort braking hard behind them. All done with long lenses, of course, but effective enough for me to remember it 30 years later.

  7. That would be great if printed on one of those yellow "Wet Floor" signs that janitors use.....

I started this blog so the child I gave up for adoption could get to know me, and in turn, her children, as well as share stories for a family that lives too far away. So please keep it friendly and kid safe. Posts that are only a link or include an ad for an unknown business automatically to to SPAM..
