Bright Spots in the Day

I normally do not post music video on here, but  local resident Laura Bretan  13 years old, auditions on  America's Got Talent and slays it. This just makes me smile again and again.

  2. I dusted off my old music degree & listened with a critical ear: she IS amazing, and will only improve with time as her voice - the physical part - matures.

Wow. And thank you for posting this!

  3. Her appearance on the Rumanian version of the show is even better, she sang "O Mio Babino Caro" the best I have ever heard, and it's a very difficult aria even for experienced opera singers.

  5. Been an opera fan for most of my life, and I just couldn't believe the sound that came out of her tiny body!Laura Bretan will be as big or bigger than a lot of the Divas out there now! Thanks so much for posting this!

  9. I saw it Tuesday evening and was surprised by the turnaround in Simon Cowell's expression. As he said he wasn't expecting much from her. She has a truly beautiful voice.

  10. I have a number of friends who have B.A.'s and M.A.'s in vocal performance. I've heard them perform multiple times and have even performed with them a few times (no, I'm an amateur, but sometimes they need an extra tenor for the chorus). This is astonishing. How can she have a voice like that at 13? And she has obviously put a lot of time in learning how to use it, she isn't just trying to skate by on talent alone.

If she keeps putting in the work and gets into a good program she'll have a great career ahead of her.
