News Alert!

My 5th book has officially gone to print today.  It should be available on Amazon in 2-3 weeks. It's written under my blog name Brigid Johnson (Brigid is not my first name) so if you share it, do it with that name because that is how it will be marketed and linked.  I worked 8 months on this one (compared to about 4 months on the other books) and I hope the effort shows.  Enjoy it - I'm going to wait until I retire in 4 years to write another one (5 in 5 years, with a full-time job, restoring a 100-year-old house, and Dad's care, I'm officially tired and going to put my feet up and read for a while.).

  1. Congrats! Enjoy your down time. Me, I am busy moving. I will email you my new mailing address shortly. It's effective by next weekend.

  2. Can't wait for the finished product.

And glad you're taking a well earned "book break".

Think of the free time you'll have!

Does that mean we get a whole new blog post every single day?

    1. Probably not. When I was posting daily I had 4-5 evenings a week in the crash pad with little to do. Now when I get off work I have a husband that likes dinner and some time with me. If there's any blogging to be done, I only have the weekends. I don't miss the commute or my crash pad, but that extra free time had its advantages.

  9. Thank you all. I know my majority buyers don't come from the blog (When Small Town Roads debuted on HOTR it sold 15 copies but when the mainstream media shared it a week later it sold 5200 copies that first week) but I truly appreciate the support and the sharing and all the links.
