Hey, I know that day. That was sort of my day. The sort of day with a moment in which you say "Despite everything, it's going pretty smoothly...." and then both participants in the conversation knock on the wood table.
And then two hours later, my coworker says to me, "You that thing we said, that jinxed us? Let's not say that again."
Maybe it's just me but, those are usually some of my favorite days. I might not get anywhere, or succeed, but I certainly enjoy at least... trying. And once in a while, the seed spills and I get a couple of cheeks full of it before the grumpy powers that be can make it outside to shoo me off! Yum!
If it's not your thing, I certainly hope you find a way to wind down and... sleep well. Perhaps even leaving the work jungle gym out of your dreams.
LMAO. Yup, that was yesterday. Come 1800 I'm looking at my desk wondering "How can I have been working for nine hours and still not get anything done?"
Squirrel Monday has a second episode, posting tomorrow. But I'm home, the tummy is full, and I don't have to get up when it's dark. (oh look! Single Mart!).
I started this blog for family far away and to share my life and writing with friends. Comments are welcome but please treat this place as you would visiting any friend. I want everyone to feel at home here. If you post advertising for a business or service and I do NOT know you, it will be reported as SPAM. Don't even bother.
Take care and I'm sorry that Monday yet again lives up to its reputation!
ReplyDeleteToo much time away I think you have gone NUTS...lol
ReplyDeleteLMAO. Hope the launch was away from the windows.
