2-3 pounds chicken wings, tips removed if you wish.
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup regular applesauce
3 cloves garlic, minced (3 teaspoons minced garlic in the jar).
1 tablespoon ginger (optional)
Mix ingredients. Pour 2/3 into large resealable bag. Save the rest in the fridge to baste the wings with. Add chicken and marinate overnight.
Line baking pan with foil.(Trust me, you'll need a welding torch to clean otherwise) and spray foil lightly with cooking spray. Pour contents of bag into pan and spread out just so that the chicken doesn't touch.. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Turn chicken, baste with remaining 1/3 marinade and bake another 20-25 minutes.
