First Snow

We had our first snowfall of the year (a little late for Chicago; it's often snowing on Halloween). We were wondering what Sunny would think of it - we got her at 10 months from the rescue organization.  She'd lived that whole time on an Amish Farm where they bred dogs to sell.  Since her front legs were bowed, no one would buy her, and she was released to the rescue, for which we are grateful.

But coming from a much more southerly State, we figured she had never seen snow.

Let's just say the snow was a BIG hit!

  1. Wonderful exuberance! On our side of the lake it did not stick much (we live less than a mile from Lake MI on the MI side opposite Cook county). Our little terrier did get her paws and belly a bit wet is all. Wishing you all a restful and filling thanksgiving.

  2. Can't have that kind of fun down south.

Pics remind me of my daughter's poodle's first snow day, at 9 months. Still had all the puppiness in him and loved it as much as Sunny does.

Let it snow, let it snow...
