Thanks for the well wishes. But I won't be around much for at least a week, window down, engine cranked, music loud.

  6. When I made the Florida to PDX run twice last fall, it seemed like all of the highways north and west of Kansas City were under construction.

On trip #2, I did BLV to PDX in two days, WITHOUT music. Never again.

I started this blog so the child I gave up for adoption could get to know me, and in turn, her children, as well as share stories for a family that lives too far away. So please keep it friendly, kid safe, and open to discussion, not criticism.

Enjoy your time here and comments are welcome. But remember - the internet is not real life. It's very much like a grade school playground. Share and enjoy--but realize that those that are your true friends know that life and friendship--are much deeper than cyberspace. This is a stop - not a destination.
