  3. Growing up is optional.....yup!

A couple of years ago, under the Christmas tree, was a large wrapper present for me.

I opened it, and VIOLA!! The three volume set of the compete Calvin and Hobbes!

Feeds my child within, all of the time.

  4. Now, if someone could explain how to deal with the cognitive dissonance created by having a 25-year old brain in a 53-year old body....

  5. Darlene - the hat always gets comments. I went and bought one and sent to a long time reader as he so wanted one to annoy the hippies in his town and couldn't find one.

IdahoBob - I have all the individual books, purchased at an assortment of bookstores. Would love to have the whole collection.

  6. "Calvin was one of the old gods..."

It's sad Waterson couldn't come down on the jackasses that make the stickers with Calvin peeing or praying, for one product or another. Travesty.

  10. I want to know who mugged me and stole the last 30 years. I want them back dammit. Unfortunately there are also days I want 1980 back again.

Do you know haw hard it is now to lay hands on a 1969 Cadillac DeVille.

I can't fly well, even as a passenger. But the open road calls to me on a daily basis.

I started this blog so the child I gave up for adoption could get to know me, and in turn, her children, as well as share stories for a family that lives too far away. So please keep it friendly and kid safe. Posts that are only a link or include an ad for an unknown business automatically to to SPAM..
