CONE FREE

AS FREE AS THE WIND BLOWS. . .

After 12 long days, the cone is gone. The report was back on the lymph nodes. They appear clean! Dr. H. will do another check in 30 days to be completely sure they are still clear.

I now, have to go back to work for the afternoon. So Barkley, what will you do with your new found freedom?

BECAUSE I CAN.

If that is not the sign of a happy pup! Very good news! While I don't recommend you indulge in the same celebratory activity do find a way to let your hair down and release some pent up stuff! You deserve it!

I'd also recommend not letting him give you a kiss until he visits his water-bowl. Just sayin'.

Glad to hear the great news. Those cones can be a pain. Cancer free is fantastic. Take care.

Over the last several years, while reading your words and following along, I, like all your other fans and friends, have fallen in love with Barkley. So I'm all, "Yeah!" Funny thing though, smiling at Barkley's adventures, along with a couple other canine acquaintances made me realize how much the "little bitch" (the cat) needed a cohort. So, you and Barkley have played a major role in our new reality. As I type, there is the cutest, most inquisitive Aussie Shephard pup you ever saw chewing on my flip flop. I named him Pete. He and Barkley would be grand buds. Grins and dog slobber all around!

Your post made me so happy to read. I've had your pup in my thoughts. Glad to read he will be okay. :-)
