It's all about location, location, location.

  2. It has been too long since I have been to the range. 14 hour days suck.

  3. As I've always said... a .22 on-target is always more effective than a .45 off-target...

    Good shootin', gal...

  6. 10 yard's, slow fire or rapid? Tight center group, good trigger control, really good string's on the head, you've a steady hand and acute eye's.

  7. .45 at 30 feet! Impressive! Oh, what is this "Sig" thing you speak of?

  8. I just learned from my friends. I'll always have Tam in my ear at my 2 oclock going "20% tigheter."

When my groups were getting a little off I had someone video (with the camera) my shooting. I could see that after every shot I was slightly releasing my grip. When I saw that, I was aware of it and it helped a lot.

Thanks all, busy weekend so I will talk to you all later.

  9. Kinda reminds of the time our training officer kept after us to keep shooting the targets in our training films until they stopped or lay down. From my perspective, if two .45 ACP shots center of body & one in the head was insufficient, I needed my silver tips. The next turn, my city marshal & I emptied out guns, reloaded and almost emptied the magazines before then film ended. Then our instructor complained about having to patch a hand sized hole in the screen. You just cannot please people.

Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. It has been x days since I've been to the range.

(In my case, x is somewhere north of 300. It's been a disturbingly busy year, and I've lost some very important parts of myself.)

I started this blog so the child I gave up for adoption could get to know me, and in turn, her children, as well as share stories for a family that lives too far away. So please keep it friendly and kid safe. Posts that are only a link or include an ad for an unknown business automatically to to SPAM..
