  3. Fiber. Needs more fiber in his diet.

My guess is he ISN'T the quicker picker-upper.

  4. I have a cat who does that....

  5. He does look somewhat guilty in photo #2. Not much, but a little anyway.

  6. LOL! What is his problem with paper products? First the tp and now the paper towels. :-D

I lol'd at the sidebar picture of him barking next to a cat that was trying to sleep. We had some cats that would have reacted with claws and teeth to having their nap disturbed like that. :-)

  7. Looks like he's working on his winter camo outfit, it'll take more than one roll to hide all that black.....

  8. Maybe he's thinking about a getting a date after your previous post...

Bounty is the quicker picker upper, isn't it?

  9. Go Barkley! Go Barkley!

I love that look on his face, as if to say "What?"

  10. Heh. It must have been the thrill of the chase. He couldn't stand it.

  11. :-)

I needed his one and the last posts.

    Thanks,

  12. 45er - he "chased it" right out of the Krogers shopping bag while I brought the bottled waters into the garage.

Josh - glad you could smile.

Suz - thanks for the visit.

North - As long as he doesn't wake me up at 4 am to go.

  13. "North - As long as he doesn't wake me up at 4 am to go."

He can now clean up after himself.

  14. That second pic should either be titled -

    Whut?

    or

    "I am soooo busted..."

  15. Was there a mouse hiding inside the cardboard tube?

If it smelled interesting to Barkley, it makes you wonder how suitable it was for cleaning things - unless he just has a thing for paper products.

  16. The look on his face in the second picture screams "Yes, can I help you?".

    Thanks, I needed that.

  17. Why Barkley why?? would be what i would say..

  18. Good ol' Barkley. What is it with Labs and paper products? Angus loves him some TP. Maybe it's a flossing thing.

  19. Better than his namesake, that's for sure!

  20. The pictures made me smile. Did Barkley tell you he could read? It says "Try Me" right on the package.

  21. LOL. Thanks, Brigid. I really needed that smile tonight.

Funny, his "darn, busted" look is almost exactly the same as my late bichon's.

  22. love it.... lol

    something about paper and animals.
a bear tore up our campsite.
chomped the TP, big ole teeth marks.
    rest of the stuff scattered.

paper has got to be dry on the mouth

  23. Barkley is one rascally pup. With a little more time he could have really made a mess.

  24. Great evidence shot!

SamTheLab would treat any bubble wrap the same way. And came as close to pouting if you didn't let her attack it.

  25. Great title and pics! Like Ruth, I, too, had a cat that used to do that...

  26. This is one of those cases where you can't even get mad...it's too dang funny not to laugh at ol' Barkley ;)

  27. You need to put some strained Bacon grease (mentioned in your cookie recipe - they sound YUMMY!)down inside one of those paper towel rolls, and watch Barkley REALLY go crazy shredding it.

  28. How can one be angry at that face?

When I take Nugget to my parents he goes in their bathroom and pulls all the TP off the roll.

Doesn't do it here at FESTUNG Scout or their other bathroom. Just their bathroom.

    Dogs....gotta love 'em.
