Getting a Leg Up - Saturday Barkley

I finally found a use for those crutches. While the Pendleton wool bedspread is off at the cleaners in prep for an upcoming visit from a gal friend and her husband, it makes a great anti Barkley device to keep him off the soft blanket in the spare bedroom.

Someone is NONE too pleased about it.

Sorry Barkley, it's Saturday.  First there's breakfast, which was oven baked German puffed pancaked stuffed with apples and cinnamon.

Then it's off to Marsh to grab air show tickets.  I'll see you later! (and I will bring back pats and treats).

Barkley,

After she leaves for the air show, I'll tell ya how to move those crutches. and have a nice nap.

'Course, you'll have to put them back when you hear her returning. And be sure to act and look sad...

LOL, you've taken away his nice soft napping place... I'd be mournful too! :-)

I love your Barkley posts.

Samara and I love Barkley posts too. Few things are as funny as the antics of pampered, spoiled sporting breeds.

Poor, poor Barkley. He get's gypped again! That face alone would make me put a sheet on the bed for him.

Brigid, if any of your cohort in motor grease that love LBC's need a TR-3 (or it might be TR2?) 3 speed transmission I inherited, have it in a frame crate, no use for it as my project is a MGTD.

Free to a good home, come and get it, am about 2 hours north of Indianapolis SW MI - contact Edward by email terrapod99 a_t y a h o o d o t c o m

Mmm, Airshow. It's been much too long. If I'd known there was an air show in Indy this weekend I might have tried to adjust my schedule. As it was I drove right past there today on my way back to MN.

Have fun.

If Barkley could speak it might come out like this:
"What you're leaving me again, and you're leaving me without a comfortable place to lay my head too? What have I done to deserve this? Have I done something bad that I forgot? Or is this pre-punishment for future indiscretions? Hmm, what can I do while you're away?"

Did you say airshow?

Do you get the F-22 demo out there?
It's really a sight to see.

Mrs. S. - he has a big leather couch he's allowed on (easy to wipe clean) but he gives me the "so deprived" look because he's not allowed on the beds during flea and tick season.

(sometimes in the winter I'll let him up at the foot of the bed with me when it's cole).

Ed - that would have been awesome. I have to get out to see Dad soon, I miss Tillamook MarionBerry Pie ice cream!

Now you got me thinking of Marionberry or blackberry cobbler....with the Breyers too!!!!
