Hm...usually here, once they get the squeaker out, they are done with it. Good to see a dog getting some long term value out of a toy!
Bill - we don't know if she was a "puppy mill" dog or a pet that just had several litters but she treats her toys like pups, even after she has de-squeeked them. Sometimes we'll sew them back up with extra stuffing and no squeaker. If they're the bargain bin $2.99 ones they just go in the trash, but she was seriously mopey when this one went in the bin.

God, I love dogs! I had a Scottie once that went wherever he please at any point he pleased. I know he had me wrapped around his paw! Including being on the bed with or without sheets. One of my fondest memories of him is him curled up on the sheetless bed while I'm folding clothes listening to Toby Keith's American Soldier.
From her good social behavior,I don't think she was a puppymill breeder dog. Those poor dogs are usually so messed up as to be pretty much Sanctuary dogs if they make it to rescue. I know one or two like that at TIRR who are sanctuary dogs.
Oh my your such a good mommy, a doggie doll fixer,
LOL, gotta love it when dogs do that... I can't see you, so you can't see me... sigh
I started this blog so the child I gave up for adoption could get to know me, and in turn, her children, as well as share stories for a family that lives too far away. So please keep it friendly and kid safe. Posts that are only a link or include an ad for an unknown business automatically to to SPAM..
